This course, based on the Music Learning Theory by Prof. E. Gordon, aims to foster the development of the individual's ability to "think music".
The course provides a type of learning that sees the child as the protagonist; a supporting tutor-guide who fully respects the child's learning time engages with the child through sound and voice, songs without words, breathing, movement, silence, reflection and much more.

Rhythmic Choral Classes Ages 3-9

These classes represent a starting point for music training. They are recommended for children aged 3 to 6 years, but children up to 9 years of age are eligible for enrollment.

DEMIA - Department of Musical Education for children and adolescents

Open to: novices, children and adolescents
Calendar: from September to June

Notes: in case of openings in the class, it is possible to apply during the course of the year. The course will be activated once the minimum number of applicants has been reached.

DEMIA, Department of Musical Education for Children and Adolescents, is a two-year educational course whose goal is to allow novices, children and adolescents to undertake the practice of music through shared lessons in small groups (3/4 students maximum) of students from the same age group.


Open to: Age Range: children from 6 to 12 years old
Calendar: 1.5 hr weekly group band lessons held at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole on Saturday mornings. Plus one monthly group instrument lesson with an expert professor. During the group instrument lessons the professor will help guide the students through their studies, following the “Accent on Achievement” method. Starting date: Saturday 3 October 2020
Application: Open all year in case of free places
Fees: € 150,00 by 10th October and € 150,00 by 10th February

Ensemble music course for young woodwind, brass and percussion students
The course is aimed toward students in primary and secondary school with the intention of bringing them closer together through group lessons and the immediate use of wind and percussion instruments, typical from the musical band tradition.
Combining the students and involving them in team games are the driving force and fundamental principles of the project, with an ensured efficacy in creating new stimuli for learning.
