Studies violin with Gabriella Armuzzi and graduates brilliantly in violin and viola, perfecting her studies under the guidance of Pavel Vernikov, Zinaida Gilels and Ilya Grubert. Almost thirty years ago she founded the Quartetto di Fiesole, as first violin (First Prize in the 1996 International V. Gui Competition in Florence).

She conveys the precious teachings that Piero Farulli imparted to her year after year and she continues the prestigious tradition of the Italian chamber music and didactics in major concert halls, festivals and masterclasses all over the world. Goffredo Petrassi highly appreciated her performance of his Quartetto (1958). She collaborates with artists such as Piero Farulli, Maria Tipo, Andrea Lucchesini, Pietro De Maria, Nelson Goerner, Alain Meunier, Kostantin Bogino, Andrea Nannoni, Stefania Cafaro, Tiziana Tramonti, Guido Corti, Stefano Fogliardi, Pier Narciso Masi, and she is praised by audiences and critics. For several years she has been dedicating the same passion also to the viola, with extraordinary acknowledgements. In parallel with her concert career, she commits herself with enthusiastic energy to teaching in institutions such as the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole and the L.Cherubini Conservatory in Florence.
