Tra i momenti salienti della stagione 2023-24, Filippo Gorini ha debuttato in recital al Teatro alla Scala di Milano, al Cal Performances di Berkeley e alla Carnegie Hall, e ha eseguito concerti con l’Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino diretta da Daniele Gatti, la Filarmonica di Shenzhen e la Musikalische Akademie di Mannheim.
Il progetto pluriennale di Filippo “The Art of Fugue Explored” ha dimostrato che la sua visione e creatività vanno oltre le sue semplici capacità esecutive: con il supporto del Borletti-Buitoni Trust, ha pubblicato l’opera per Alpha Classics nel 2021, l’ha eseguita a livello internazionale oltre 30 volte e ha pubblicato su RAI5 e RaiPlay una serie di conversazioni filmate sulla musica di Bach con personalità come Peter Sellars, Frank Gehry, Sasha Waltz, Alexander Sokurov, Alexander Polzin, Alfred Brendel, George Benjamin e molti altri. Prodotti da Unitel, saranno presto pubblicati a livello internazionale.
Filippo ha ricevuto il “Premio Abbiati”, il più prestigioso riconoscimento musicale italiano, nel 2022, nonché il Borletti-Buitoni Trust Award 2020 e il Primo Premio al Concorso Telekom-Beethoven 2015. I suoi tre album con opere tarde di Beethoven e Bach, pubblicati da Alpha Classics, hanno ottenuto il plauso della critica, tra cui un Diapason d’Or e recensioni a 5 stelle su The Guardian, BBC Music Magazine e Le Monde.
Parallelamente alla sua carriera da solista, Filippo si è esibito in musica da camera con musicisti del calibro di Marc Bouchkov, Itamar Zorman, Pablo Ferrandez, Brannon Cho ed Erica Piccotti, in rinomati festival come il Marlboro Music Festival, i Prussia Cove Chamber Music Seminars e il festival “Chamber Music Connects the World” a Kronberg con Steven Isserlis. Ha tenuto masterclass presso la Liechtenstein Musikakademie, l’Università della British Columbia, il Royal Welsh College of Music e i Conservatori di Bergamo e Siena. Segue attivamente il mondo della composizione contemporanea e ha eseguito opere di compositori come Stockhausen, Kurtág, Boulez e Lachenmann, oltre a commissionare nuovi brani.
Dopo essersi diplomato con lode al Conservatorio Donizetti di Bergamo e al Mozarteum di Salisburgo, il suo percorso artistico è ora sostenuto dalla guida di Maria Grazia Bellocchio, Pavel Gililov, Alfred Brendel e Mitsuko Uchida.

His upcoming project “Sonata for 7 cities”, due for 2025-27, aims to show a new, responsible and ethical approach to concert life with monthly residencies in Vienna, Cape Town, Hong Kong, Portland, Milan and more, centred around performances, outreach, teaching, and philanthropy. During this project he will also perform seven newly commissioned piano pieces by composers such as Beat Furrer, Stefano Gervasoni, Yukiko Watanabe, Michelle Agnes Magalhaes, Federico Gardella, Oscar Jockel.
