POSTGRADUATE COURSES
Those who wish to further the study of their individual instrument will have access to courses at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, taking advantage of the exemption from the registration fee and a 25% discount on the tuition fee, subject to an entrance examination and subject to place availability.  Also, active OGI students may attend the Quartet course of Andrea Nannoni free of charge; if the members of the quartet are not actual or former OGI effective students, they must pay the registration fee and are entitled to a 50% discount on the tuition fee. The winners of the competition for concertmaster and the principle of the second violins will have the opportunity to attend the Violin course as listeners held by Lorenza Borrani at the School of Music of Fiesole or as effective according to availability.  More details can be found on the site www.scuolamusicafiesole.it.

COLLABORATION – The Artistic Director of the Music School of Fiesole will assign the best students for possible additions to the Youth Orchestra “Luigi Cherubini” and other orchestras, as well as other institutions and concert associations, in a spirit of synergy with the intention to facilitate placement of young musicians in the professional world.

EFNYO – PROJECT MusXchange
Participants in the Course of Professional Qualification for Orchestra – Italian Youth Orchestra – selected at the discretion of the Artistic Director, will have the opportunity to take advantage exchanges with other European Youth Orchestras through Project MusXchange.

CONVENTION CONSERVATORY LIVORNO – TWO YEAR DEGREE IN ORCHESTRAL EDUCATION
Eligible candidates in the selection for the course Professional Qualification for Orchestra – Italian Youth Orchestra – may enroll in the Academic Diploma Degree in Orchestral Training at the Institute Mascagni. Students admitted to the activities of the Master of Professional Qualification for Orchestra – Italian Youth Orchestra will have the credits recognized relating to the frequencies of characteristic activities. For those subjects where it is expected, however, students take a final exam at the Institute Mascagni, with the aim of recognition of votes useful for graduation. The result of the selections will give eligibility for access to the two year degree at the Institute Mascagni also for those students who do not attend the actual course of Professional Qualification for Orchestra – Italian Youth Orchestra. For these students, the relevant subjects will be divided and coordinated between the two institutions. The other activities for all students will be held at the Institute Mascagni and will be scheduled according to a timetable compatible with the activities of the Professional Qualification Course for Orchestra – Italian Youth Orchestra.
