This post graduate course will take place with the collaboration of the pianist Silvia Da Boit.
The viola course will be divided in 8 sessions of two days each in general during the week end.
Within the course there will be two meetings, one at the beginning and one at the end, with two guests who will address the participants with a particular focus on orchestra auditions and the Baroque repertoire. The methodology course will have the same trends. Students who will be interested in can apply for in both the viola and instrumental methodology courses both jointly and separately.
Programme: The organisation of personal practice, basic solo and chamber viola repertoire, orchestra excerpts, and audition and competition preparation.
At the professor’s discretion, the best student may be chosen to hold recitals during the year.
Admission Requirements: Viola course: one classic concerto and a piece of a different style. Methodology course: a piece which shows the candidates skills.
The course will take place only if the minimum number of students required is reached.
