The basic courses at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole guide children, adolescents, and young musicians in learning to play classical, early, and modern instruments, as well as to sing and compose, under the guidance of experienced teachers and in a stimulating environment.

Instrument Courses for Children and Adolescents

The Scuola di Musica di Fiesole offers instrument courses for children and adolescents, even those without prior musical experience. These study paths are divided into three levels, each concluded with a certification exam to acknowledge the skills acquired.

In most basic courses, instead of indivual lessons, students may choose to enroll in SuonInsieme, a two-year program featuring group instrument lessons with peers in small groups.

Courses in Singing and Composition

In addition to instrumental courses, the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole also offers basic courses in vocal technique and singing, as well as composition courses.

Courses in Early and Baroque Instruments

The Scuola di Musica di Fiesole provides basic courses in early and baroque instruments, such as the harpsichord, lute, viola da gamba, baroque violin, and baroque cello, for adolescents, young musicians and those with a particular interest in early music.
