Fiesole Harmonie is the wind ensemble of the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole and is inspired by similar ensembles that have long been active in the Anglo-saxon youth music scene.
The group is made up of young musicians and children who gradually learn to play together with others, without the pressure that usually accompanies the first experience of playing in an orchestra, where wind players normally perform “one to a part” and are responsible for “solos”. Participation in the ensemble is also open to external students, subject to availability and an entrance audition.
