The Scuola di Musica di Fiesole has been able to grow and develop into one of the most interesting institutions on the international scene thanks to the support and generous commitment of many people and organisations.
First and foremost, we would like to thank all the teachers, whose dedication and expertise bring the School to life and whose commitment contributes to the education of young people.
Our heartfelt thanks go to municipal administrations, foundations, theatres and associations that support the School’s many activities — including the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana — with ideas and contributions, as well as to concert institutions that accompany our students as they embark on their professional concert careers. Finally, the School is grateful to the many friends who contribute to the musical education of future generations through scholarships and donations of instruments.
The Fondazione CR Firenze is one of the main pillars supporting the School’s activities. As its first private supporter, the Foundation makes many of the School’s projects possible, including the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana, postgraduate courses, the V. Galilei Orchestra, the Orchestra dei Ragazzi, the F. Landini Schola Cantorum, scholarships, academic courses and basic courses. The Fondazione also strongly supports social projects such as decentralised orchestra programmes, CoroInsieme and activities in schools, as well as the School’s concert activities and the traditional Festa della Musica on 24 June.
