Amateur project
The Amateur project is intended for anyone who wishes to devote time to music while pursuing other professional or personal activities, or simply to sing or play an instrument without the goal of obtaining a formal qualification.Chamber music is at the heart of the project. Teachers and their collaborators make music together with participants, encouraging interaction and facilitating the learning process.
Open courses
The Open courses are designed for anyone who wishes to study an instrument without enrolling in a pre-academic or academic programme.
Admission is based on an aptitude interview conducted by the teachers and the coordinator of the Amateur project.
Admission is based on an entry assessment, consisting of an introductory meeting and, for applicants who already have musical experience, an instrument audition. For younger candidates, the presence of a family member is recommended.
Path A – Orchestra
– One three-hour orchestra rehearsal (Saturday afternoons, according to the teacher’s schedule).
Path B – chamber music and/or chamber orchestra
– One individual instrument lesson or one four-hand piano lesson every two weeks.
– One chamber music lesson or one music theory and sight-singing lesson.
– Chamber orchestra (according to the schedule).
Path C – Instrument course (for beginners and non-beginners)
– One weekly individual instrument lesson.
– One weekly music theory and sight-singing lesson.
– One weekly chamber music lesson and/or chamber orchestra (according to the schedule).
Optional packages
Students may combine any of the following with all study paths:
– music theory and sight-singing lessons
– harmony or music history lessons
– chamber music lessons
Young people and adults with a passion for music.
Applications must be submitted by 1 September.
From September to June

If places remain available, enrolment is also possible after the beginning of the academic year.
