V.E. Rimbotti String Quartet Competition – SUSPENDED

The competition is dedicated to string quartets enrolled in the ECMA Session – Fiesole. It is a joyful way for the Rimbotti family to commemorate Vittorio Emanuele, who was the first President of the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, recalling the principles that inspired his action: helping young people, on the path to excellence, to find a way to express the best of themselves. The competition, which has awarded quartets such as the Pavel Haas, Apollon Musagete, the Adorno, and others, offers a prize of € 8,000, not divisible, and the opportunity to perform concerts, including one hosted by the prestigious concert institution Amici della Musica di Firenze.
