Music Learning Theory envisages a teacher-guide who, with full respect for each child’s individual interaction timing, relates to the child through sound and voice, producing songs without words and using breathing, movement, silence, mirroring (an active listening technique that generates empathy and supports communication), and other tools.

This teaching practice aims to develop listening skills, also through the enhancement of spontaneous, free, and guided movement.

During the activities, child and teacher immerse themselves in the world of sound frequencies and non-verbal communication. In a relaxed and playful environment, the child experiences a form of musical dialogue that, over time, leads to the development of the singing voice, intonation, and rhythmic sense.

Vocal and sound-based dialogue supports the acquisition of a musical vocabulary made up of organized groups of sounds and gradually enables the child to express themselves musically in an autonomous and creative way, through structures absorbed informally.

While maintaining a stable underlying structure, the teaching model adapts to the different stages of the child’s cognitive development.

The primary instrument used is the voice.

For children aged 0 to 36 months, the presence of a reference adult during the lesson is required.
