Another important step forward in the international relations of the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole: a few days ago, a letter from Pascale De Groote, President of the AEC (Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen), informed our Superintendent that the School’s application for admission as an active member of the prestigious association, based in Brussels, had been accepted.
The School is now part of an organization whose purpose is to foster relationships among around 300 higher music education institutions throughout Europe, creating a network for the exchange of information, meetings, and professional contacts in order to enhance the educational effectiveness of its member institutions.
