Courses at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole
Biography
| She began studying at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole at an early age, in the class of Professor Alda Dalle Lucche, and went on to graduate with distinction in saxophone under the old curriculum at the G.B. Martini Conservatory in Bologna. She has attended several advanced courses and masterclasses given by A. Dalle Lucche, J.Y. Formeau and M. Marzi, and has also attended classes as an auditor with Londeix and Rousseau. She has performed with various chamber music ensembles, including the saxophone duo “Noir”, the saxophone and accordion duo “Comancita” and the saxophone quartet “Anomos”, with which she won second prize at the International Competition for Wind Soloists and Ensembles in Villacidro (Cagliari). She currently performs with other quartets, with an extensive repertoire, including the reed quartet “Metamorphosis”, with which she has taken part in numerous festivals, including the “Festival di Villa Solomei” (Perugia) and the “Amiata Festival”, as well as the “Quartetto Arabesque” and Alda Dalle Lucche as saxophone soloist, performing at the 55th Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto, Santa Fiora in Musica and Contempoartensemble. She is also a member of the Auris saxophone quartet, with which she has performed in numerous concerts, including “Musica sulle Apuane”, the “Festival di Villa Solomei” and the “Galiziana Festival” (Malta). She is also a member of the Eos Saxophone Project of the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, with which she took part in the production of The Little Prince at the Teatro Goldoni in Florence, the Caffeina Festival (Viterbo) and the “Antidoto” series at Villa Stonorov. She has collaborated with the Orchestra dei Ragazzi of the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, as well as with the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana and the Orchestra Regionale Toscana under the direction of Gabriele Ferro, Marshall and Broke. She has also collaborated with the Orchestra La Filharmonie and the Orchestra del Teatro Comunale di Bologna. She worked with the Conservatory of Carpi in the chamber music class of Angelo Gabrielli, taking part in a concert at the Arturo Toscanini Foundation as part of the celebrations for the centenary of Verdi. She has attended numerous seminars on teaching music to young children and completed the Yamaha Master Course, obtaining certification in the Yamaha “Orchestrando” method. In 2012, she graduated in Musicology and Musical Heritage, with a thesis specifically devoted to saxophone teaching. |
