The Scuola di Musica di Fiesole offers young clarinetists holding a pre-reform (Vecchio Ordinamento) diploma or a first-level AFAM diploma a postgraduate clarinet course that, under the guidance of an experienced concert performer, helps them refine their musical skills, deepen their knowledge of the clarinet repertoire, and improve their performance abilities.
In line with the educational approach of the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, which places strong emphasis on public performance, students of the postgraduate clarinet course take part in numerous concerts and events where they can apply the skills they have developed.
The postgraduate clarinet course led by Calogero Palermo is a high-level training opportunity that provides an excellent foundation for pursuing prestigious professional careers in music.Scholarships are available for the most deserving students through an internal annual competition (March/April).
The postgraduate clarinet course is an advanced training program reserved for young clarinetists holding a pre-reform (Vecchio Ordinamento) diploma or a first-level AFAM diploma. Exceptionally talented students who have not yet obtained the required qualifications may also be admitted.
The course will be activated only if the minimum number of participants is reached.
Auditors are admitted.
The admission exam requires candidates to perform the exposition of the first movement of the Concerto K.622 for clarinet and orchestra by W. A. Mozart.
Candidates who require a collaborative pianist must request one at the time of application.
